Welcome to Christ Church!
Christ Church Waltham is a welcoming Episcopal community brought together in our common worship of God and united in our desire to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves.
Please fill out a yellow card if you are new to our community. Place it in the offering plate, or give it to the clergy.
The Episcopal Church
Christ Church is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, which includes 180 congregations in cities and towns throughout eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the islands.
There are 110 dioceses in the The Episcopal Church and we are part of the global Anglican Communion, with congregations in 160 countries. Our partner congregation, St. Peter’s Anglican Church of Uganda, meets for Luganda worship at 12:30pm.
Our diocesan bishop is The Rt. Rev. Alan H. Gates. He works with assistant bishop The Rt. Rev. Gayle Harris.
Episcopalians celebrate the Mass in ways similar to the Roman Catholic tradition, yet do not recognize a single authority, such as the Pope of Rome.
